Michelle’s Axolotls strives to provide the best possible experience for both the new customers and our Axolotls. Due to the nature of this business, all sales are final except for our Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG). 

Shipping Note

There are some locations where it is Illegal to own Axolotls so we are unable to process any orders to the following locations:

California

Hawaii

Maine

District of Columbia

New Jersey 

New Mexico

If your order is being shipped to one of these above-mentioned states please be aware that the order will be canceled without further notice. 

Due to the nature of the business, we are unable to ship to any PO Boxes, again any orders made where the delivery address is a PO Box the order will be canceled without further notice. 

Live Arrival Guarantee

One of the ways we do that is to provide a Live Arrival Guarantee, which means we take all necessary steps to ensure your axolotl(s) arrive alive and well. In the unfortunate event that the axolotl is deceased upon arrival the following steps outline how to qualify for the Live Arrival Guarantee:

1. Take images or videos of the deceased axolotl in the received packaging. That includes pictures of the box's outside, the shipping label, and the deceased axolotl(s). 
2. Notification of the deceased Axolotl(s) needs to be sent to MichellesAxolotlsVa@gmail.com within 2 hours of UPS/ USPS delivery timestamp. 
3. After we receive your notice we will be in contact with the owner to decide on the next steps which could include a refund or selection of another axolotl. (Next steps are determined on a case-by-case basis as other carriers are involved).

If the outlined process is not followed this will void the Live Arrival Guarantee. 

This LAG is valid on the purchases of Axolotl eggs. 

Processing Time

We like to ensure the safety of our Axolotls and will ensure to ship out your new friend as soon as possible. Depending on the day of the week that the axolotl is purchased the processing time could be 2-3 business days. 

Shipping

All axolotls that are purchased will be shipped out Monday through Wednesday (Subject to change depending on Federal Holidays that can affect Carrier hours). 

We will ship all live axolotls and eggs in insulated boxes with cold packs as needed to ensure the safety and health of our beloved Axolotls.

For the most part, all Axolotls and eggs will be shipped via UPS 2 Day shipping and a tracking number will be provided, along with images of the package. It is your responsibility to ensure you are tracking your package to ensure the axolotl's safety.
